Hi, we're Hive. We're a healthcare communications agency that does things differently. We put patients at the heart of everything we do, while staying focused on healthcare professionals' needs. More »
Following a delightful 3 months striving through probation here, we are delighted to announce Wyndham Clark joins us as a big kid.
Wyndham’s an army man by nature, at home with military strategy and planning full frontal attacks and as a member of the Honorable Artillery Company Wyndham’s no stranger to taking aim and getting it done.
Alongside this army calling Wyndham has managed an impressive 17 year career in communications. He started off working at Young & Rubicam, across a variety of consumer accounts, from airlines to cars, food to household goods, and found salvation and healthcare was whilst at Bates Dorland. Since then he’s worked across domestic, European and global brands, providing broad experience to his OTC and RX clients. With experience across B2C, and B2B Wyndham joins us as part of the team here leading client relationships.
As important to us as his external value, Wyndham has extensive experience internally, with a track record of helping shape training and development across creative businesses making people better and better. A talent we hold dear here at hive.
In addition to breaking two of my fingers during a BBQ, Wyndham has kicked off his time here already with some great internal initiatives, solid thinking and inspiring some beautiful client work. Wyndham also joins the management team here at hive to help us strive to trusted partnership status with all we work with.
Jumping head long into the Beapart philosophy Wyndham has promised to buy anyone who pops in to congratulate him in the next week a pint and a bag of pork scratchings in Soho to celebrate his arrival.
I’m one of the new ones here and what better way to announce my arrival than to part with a shiny new bit of kit.
But, before I do, I’d like to take this opportunity to apologise for the delay as we were inundated with entries to bag this little wonder. Not only were we impressed with the volume, but the content, all of which were top notch. A big thank you for taking part, some great ideas which we’ll no doubt borrow!
So, we’d like to donate the iPad to…
Mr Mick Moore and his rather in-depth solution to the issues around organ donation with an app titled Lifeapp.
In Mick’s words;
My idea is to use the iPads ability to convey information in a compelling and interactive way to highlight the issues around organ donation.
Commercial model: A sponsored app to be downloaded for free.
This app aims to highlight the benefits of blood/organ donations, with a mixture of interviews, info graphics and that takes advantage of the interactive experience offered by the iPad. Lifeapp would cover;
What organ donation meant for me. People who are only alive today because of donations tell their stories.
Families tell stories of their loved ones who had agreed to donate.

Congrats Mick, a bubble wrapped Apple is winging its way to your doorstep shortly. So that’s it folks and thanks for entering. More from my good self shortly.
We had a visit from our friend Tony today, who popped in to chat about apps and gaming. Whilst he was here, he showed us his new iPhone game, Free Fallers. By sweeping across the screen with your finger you can set the course for a sky-diving Panda or Elephant to crush the diggers, scuppering their evil plan to destroy the rainforest. And feel good about your carbon footprint while you’re at it.
We’re a little bit addicted here already. If you want to give it a go, get onto the app store and look for Free Fallers. Let us know your High Scores – we’re up for a challenge.
The joys of busy times, means that we haven’t really been out on a big one in a while. Total shame. With this in mind everyone piled into Chez Scorer last night for a hefty feast of ribs, ‘slaw and baked starch, followed by 150 brownies and ice cream.
This mammoth calorie intake saw us up until 3.30 this morning, putting the world to rights (Helen), talking complete nonsense (Wyndham) and teaching Punjabi (Jas) and Afrikaans (Sheralyn).
I woke this morning to find my brilliant sister, had cleared up all the mess and deposited what must have been a tonne of bones for the bin men.
I have since had 2 requests for my secret rib sauce recipe and now am considered a Levi Roots style Hivey Hivey Sauce range. I would tell all here but fear for the exclusivity of the brand – suffice to say that balsamic vinegar is the unusual, but vital ingredient in making what is clearly a Dragons den future star.
Needless to say the office is a little quieter than normal today.
