Whats up Doc?

It’s with enormous joy that we announce Kathryn our Planning director has finished her PhD.

Kathryn first joined us three years ago to sit in the Regent Street office and share the space whilst we nurtured our first agency.

When I look back, it’s entirely possible that Kathryn’s PHD would have been finished last year if we hadn’t distracted her with stupid questions and interrupted her sentence structure with celebrations at pitch wins and tempting discount Cava.

We as a team have lived through research methodology, hcp recruitment, interviews galore, countless chapter rewrites and the odd moment of pressure. It’s been a fascinating process.

I personally can’t help but feel very proud of the focused intensity that Kathryn’s dedicated to getting these three letters. In the years that have passed we have been lucky enough to have shared and learnt some of what’s new in the academic world, grasped the useful bit of academia and squeezed anthropology somewhat. To have this academic steel at our heart is pretty awesome.

Kathryn’s central to our insight thirst, and it’s a joy when we see one of us strive for and attain something truly  brilliant. Kathryn’s done just that having been through the culmination of the PhD process; the viva on Friday, with praise and enthusiasm from the reviewing team.

I for one rarely miss an opportunity to use the term hyper-diversity – adding valuable terminology to our sparse simple world!

Dead proud. Tempting Cava all round.
