Making Haymarket whilst the sun shines
The keys have been picked up and the build team in.
Wayne and the guys at Spruce are hard-walling, cable guying, chippying to get the place just how we want it in the 4 weeks we have to get out new office sorted.
We held a couple of Hackathons a month or so ago to get the whole team across Ebee, Hive and Pollen involved in their new home. What resulted was a cool list of feature filled, fun stuff to be placed on the shopping list for us to design in.
It’s with great pride that I can say that we have managed near 90% of the Hacks that were voted as the best. Those that were binned mostly belonged on the social side rather than the building list including a Dim Sum trolley, regular film nights and a increasingly complex, budget blowing music control system that altered by individual, pod, department, area, mood and air temperature. All this in 7100sq of industrial lab chic.
Our moving in date should be before the Olympics, depending on our friends at building control and planning. It’s going to be an ace place. On the list and being designed, built, and sorted is.

As the build progresses Andy is taking photos so once we get to a place we can bash up a little film. And of course we will have a few launch parties with some invites going out to old and new friends.
