Get to work differently on Monday
At last the deadline is upon us.
The illusive fibre optic and emergency internet are installed and going through NASA style testing and 1 Oxendon Street sits ready for Jas, Ian and I to spend the weekend with the movers and shakers getting it all ship shape for a grand opening on Monday morning. In the time it has taken 2 wires to travel across a block of London real estate we have managed to win 65 medals, with 29 gold, 17 silver and 19 bronze. Clearly no way-leave licences were needed byTeam GB.
Our current office is stacked high with Blue boxes and buzzes with an intolerance of ephemera and old sales aids. Only the new and shiny for our new home.
Tea and coffee is ordered and the bar filled with Czech craft and a 35 bottles of Cavalry beer (more later). From X-ray welcoming boxes to reclaimed materials galore – I am dying to see the teams reactions to a project that’s been very close to my heart. Having spent pretty much every non-billable waking hour designing, sourcing and chopping it together.
As we get closer to Monday we will share some of the elements, and of course the move in day will see a flurry on Flickr as is usual for us. If you fancy pop in at some point next week for a look around do give us a shout.
