All of us in a room, going through account splits, organic growth, pitch wins and the expectations for the agency in 2011. It’s looking like a really fun year full of thinking, creativity and personal growth.

As such we are looking to add a few bees to the Hive. Ideally we wanting to get candidates in role and up and running for second quarter next year. As such we are kicking off recruitment now, looking for an AM and an AE to work across the business and join the team as soon as they can.

We can offer development galore, a great culture and good times. If you fancy a chat about what we do, and how we do it, do shout. Hope to see you very soon.

The latest instalment of Hive Poly’s (motto - Velle est posse) strategy training sessions discussed leadership, project management and the joys of singing songs. All via a case study covering Ernest Shackleton and his 1915 ill-fated Antarctic expedition

We reviewed all aspects of the trip, planning, disaster management and eventual rescue. It’s a great way to review the elements of leadership, how plans must remain flexible, and team culture, alongside a solid direction really helps when you get yourself trapped in ice. Shackleton proved a great example of entrepreneurship, self-promotion and of obsessive dedication.

I found the ad Shackleton use in the The Times to recruit for this expedition – showing also the value of a sense of humour when asking people to take part in difficult adventures. I love the honesty of ‘safe return doubtful’.

We’re looking for people who share our aim to place patient centred brand planning and programming at the heart of the pharmaceutical strategic process.

We’ve grown quickly, but carefully and if you’d like to join 16 slightly mad individuals its a lot of fun, very challenging and enormously rewarding. Give us a shout if you are interested. beapart@hivehealth.com
